About
Growing up in Hillsboro, Oregon to two self-employed parents, I learned two things early on: the value of hard work, and that you can do anything you put your mind to. My dad, who was a successful graphic designer himself, taught me the power of a great design, and how to see the world in shapes, colors, and stories. His nickname for me—"GB," short for Ginabelle—is now in my logo, immortalized in his own handwriting. (Miss you, Dad!)
For over 20 years, I've blended strategy and creativity to help nonprofits and small businesses tell their stories through compelling print and digital collateral. I’ve worn many hats, from communications director to executive director, but my passion has always been in building brands and campaigns that not only look good, but do good. I believe every business has a story waiting to be told, and my mission is to help them share it with clarity and heart. From schools to nonprofits, startups to government orgs, I have been helping people augment their brands and marketing efforts for more than twenty years.
When it comes to photography, my first camera was a disposable one. I’d print two copies of every photo - one for me and one to share. In college, I learned to use film and develop my own photos. When digital came along - my camera never left my wrist (until that time it got stolen in a bar in Boston, long story). The birth of my daughter, Remy, re-ignited my passion, turning my hobby (and art degree) into a calling. My style is all about capturing the real, unposed moments—the ones full of natural light and genuine emotion. I love showing people that a photo session can be more than just "getting the shot"—it can be an easy (dare I say fun) experience. No photo shoot is alike, so you’ll never see my photos all looking the same. No filters here!
I live in Boise, Idaho, with my husband, Matt, and our two little ones, Remy and Aksel. If I'm not behind a camera or a computer, I'm probably brainstorming my next big idea. I enjoy the outdoors - camping, skiing, hiking - as well as artsy things, pickleball, traveling, and new adventures.
